So, it’s happening. Borders is in the process of liquidating and shutting down. September is expected to be its last month. Since I was buying most of my new manga through Borders, this is going to significantly affect me. My manga purchasing habits will have to evolve and change. For the most part, I’ll probably begin relying more heavily on RightStuf and the sales there. RightStuf is a wonderful company that cares about fans and its customers, so I’ll be happy to give them my business, but damn I’m going to miss Borders. The very small upside is that I was able to pick up a nice stack of manga (and other books) at less than half price this month at Borders’ liquidation sales. Anyway. I was very happy to seed the second Cardcaptor Sakura Omnibus finally released by Dark Horse. No word as to when the third volume will be published, but I sincerely hope that it will be. I was also excited to be able to put together a complete set of Two Flowers for the Dragon this month. The books are in nice condition, but more importantly, I found them at a great price!
