Okay, so the acquisitions for March were slightly less reasonable than the the last couple of months, but I’m still doing a lot better than I was at the end of last year. Most of this can be explained by one of two things. One, I had a very successful month finding lots of out of print manga on ebay. Particularly exciting was a complete set of Sho Fumimura and Ryoichi Ikegami’s Sanctuary. And two, Akadot had a major sale so I took the opportunity to stock up on a bunch of boys’ love and yaoi manga. I expect next month to be a bit sparser. March was also a good month for preorders. The final volume of Usamaru Furuya’s No Longer Human was released, as were the next volumes in Natsume Ono’s House of Five Leaves and Kaoru Mori’s A Bride’s Story, among several others. I was also thrilled about the release of Battle Royale: The Complete Collection which includes both Battle Royale films and a ton of extras. The packaging is really cool, too. It’s the first time that the films been legitimately available in the United States.
